Founded 1992, WEC is a not-for-profit business organization for businesses run by women. WEC has been involved in many initiatives over the years that have supported and facilitated the growth of women owned businesses. The organization’s current mandate is to:

•    Provide a forum for growth-oriented women business owners who Think Big!
•    Support and facilitate the growth of women owned businesses.
•    Create public awareness around business practices and policies that drive growth-oriented businesses.

The goal of the Think Big! Program is to encourage women business owners to “Think Big!” about growth and expansion, from start-up and beyond, as well as influence multiple stakeholders within the public and private business community to hire women owned businesses, create best practices to support their growth, and provide products and services suited to their needs.
